COBHAM GRANGE PROVIDES THE IDEAL SOLUTION!

For the past 36 years Hazel Matthews has been living in a family sized house complete with a garden which is now bigger than she needs. Hazel now feels it is time for her to downsize to a more manageable property in a central location. So when she heard that Banner Homes was building an over 55’s development in the centre of Cobham, she was one of the first in line to purchase a property at the exclusive Cobham Grange development.

Hazel explains; “I had always said that I would move from my house in Oxshott when driving started to become more of a chore. Whilst I am still happy to drive I was keen to move to the centre of town. I didn’t want to have to get into my car every time I wanted to get ‘out and about’, so Cobham Grange seemed the perfect choice. The development has everything I could need in one location with the library, bank, shops and Waitrose just a short walk away.”

One of Hazel’s main wishes was to remain in the area so she was still near to all her family and friends. Hazel says; “I love the fact that I will be only a few miles away from those that are closest to me and I am also really looking forward to making new friends once I am living at the development. Banner Homes has already organised a few drinks parties which has allowed me to meet my future neighbours and they all seem very friendly.”

Hazel concludes; “I have never bought a new build property before so the prospect of buying off-plan made me a little apprehensive at first. However, after chatting to my three sons and doing some research we all came to the conclusion that it was the best solution. By buying off-plan I am making sure that I am getting in early, so I can secure the apartment of my choice. I am looking forward to next spring when I am able to move in.”

Cobham Grange will comprise eight one-bedroom and 36 two-bedroom apartments, all designed exclusively for the over 55s. Each apartment features a designer kitchen, the latest integrated appliances, granite work surfaces, stylish white bathrooms and en-suites, beautiful ceramic tiling and excellent storage facilities.

The development is based around a luxury hotel concept, built for everyday life. Properties here are built to the highest specification, with beautiful courtyard gardens and a first class concierge service to welcome residents at the door, take delivery of shopping, greet guests and assist with any day-to-day tasks such as making theatre or restaurant reservations.

There is also an unique club house for social events or for residents’ own private hire. The fully equipped kitchen provides the perfect facility for any event and the excellent décor by a distinguished interior designer ensures the perfect backdrop to evening entertainment. An on-site beauty salon is also available for visiting beauticians, aromatherapists and hairdressers, and there is handy basement parking and a lift to all floors.

Prices at Cobham Grange range from £250,000 to £450,000. As an added incentive those who reserve an apartment will receive a £5,000 allowance towards removal costs and legal fees. All apartments also come complete with carpets, curtains and light fittings.

The development is now complete and ready for immediate occupation. A marketing suite and two show homes are now open. The show homes are open daily from 10am to 5pm. For further information please call the sales advisor at Cobham Grange on 01932 869526 or contact estate agents Savills on 01483 796810.

LOCK UP AND LEAVE WITH PEACE OF MIND

As the winter months draw in it’s no surprise that many people are turning their heads to the overseas shores to purchase a home abroad, in search of sun and relaxation. However, with this comes one prime concern – finding a property that is low maintenance and high security which will allow the individual to simply lock up and leave. Luckily, Banner Homes has the answer in the form of its Providence Park development off Bassett Avenue, Southampton.

Approached via a sweeping drive, Providence Park is a luxury gated development of 77 apartments, 11 of which are exclusive to over 55’s, in addition to four designer penthouses and eight family homes. Residents benefit from the added security and peace of mind of Providence Park’s own estate manager who helps to maintain the luxurious grounds.

Situated on a landscaped hillside, many of the properties benefit from enviable views over nearby Southampton city and surrounding countryside. Purchasers can make the most of this fantastic location through the ‘Green Travel Pack’ worth £350. More active buyers can opt to become the owner of a brand new bike, where as those who prefer a more leisurely approach can take advantage of the ‘green’ public transport travel card.

Nicki Dennis, Sales and Marketing Director at Banner Homes says; “The popularity of Providence Park has come as no surprise and we are delighted to now be offering this exclusive block reserved specifically for the over 55s. The apartments are good quality, well specified, spacious, high security and low maintenance, which make them ideal for people who want to lock up and leave.

“Southampton International Airport, one of the country’s fastest growing airports is also within close proximity to the development, just down the road in Eastleigh. After Phil and Sofie of Channel 4* revealed that Eastleigh is the 9th best place to live in the UK, I’m sure that the prices in the area will rise. Providence Park is able to give individuals the best of both worlds in terms of its great location on the outskirts of Eastleigh and its easy access to Southampton International Airport.”

Enveloped by a screen of mature trees, Providence Park is a modern interpretation of the Regency crescent design. Inside, each of the properties has been styled to a high specification, featuring stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, with heated towel rails and classic white sanitary ware in the bathrooms.

Close to local shops and amenities, an excellent network of local buses also links Providence Park to the vibrant Southampton City centre, making its excellent facilities for shopping, eating out and entertainment perfectly accessible. Southampton also has a mainline railway station providing links to London Waterloo in one hour 15 minutes and easy access to the M27 and the M3 make Winchester, the New Forest and Portsmouth under a 40 minute drive away.

Prices at Providence Park start from £245,000. The new show apartment is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. For further information please contact the marketing suite on 02380 769436
