Long term residents of Forest Row, Claudio and Hazel Priori, had been looking to move back into the centre of the village for some time. Following a search of the area, the couple came across Banner Homes’ Deerhurst Park located on Park Road, it was then that they realised this was an ideal place for them to move.
Proprietor of Chequers Inn Hotel in Forest Row, Claudio, explains; “My family and I had have been living in Sussex for over 35 years, of which 28 years has been in the Forest Row area. We had been living in a rural area on the outskirts of the village for sometime but were keen to move back into a more central position so we can be closer to our business and indeed the local amenities in the area.”
When the couple drove past Banner Homes’ Deerhurst Park development they were immediately attracted to its central location. Claudio comments; “The development is situated in a fantastic area and close to all local amenities, making it ideal for the family and I. It will be great to not to have to rely on using the car so much to get out and about.”
Claudio and Hazel’s last two homes in Forest Row were traditional older properties. When questioned about the move to a new build home Claudio says; “When we saw the homes at Deerhurst Park we were impressed by how special the properties are. When we went to view the show home we were amazed with the overall finish of the property and how bright and spacious they were. The layout is also fantastic and really works for us.
“One of my favourite parts of the property is the huge bedrooms with bathroom facilities available either in the form of ensuites or simply next door to the room. It is great to have so much space and all the necessary amenities close to hand. As an added extra, the garden is still big enough for me to make use of my ride on lawn mower!”
A new build home was also attractive to Claudio as it means less hassle on the up keep. Claudi says; “I have never been a big fan of DIY and the thought of having my house full of tradesmen when I want to be at home relaxing does not appeal. Consequently, the new build option seemed a great choice as it means that we should have no home hassles for at least 10 to 15 years.”
Claudio concludes; “Both my family and I are very happy with our property choice and the procedure of purchasing has been a straight forward and smooth process. We are looking forward to many happy years in our new property.”
