For Simon and Lizzie Clarke a fresh start was just what they wanted when they came across Banner Homes’ latest development Casbrook Fields in Michelmersh, near Romsey, Hampshire. We wanted a fresh start and were looking for a property by the sea. We weren’t set on a specific area and were looking from St Ives in Cornwall all the way up to Cambridge. We had seen some lovely properties in Lyme Regis, Christchurch and Swanage and then one day we decided to look at an old Victorian cottage around the corner from Casbrook Fields. As we were leaving a man stopped us for directions to the new homes. We didn’t know where they were but next time we visited the Victorian house we decided to take a look.
“As soon as Lizzie and I walked into the showhome we fell in love with it. The fact that it was not by the sea did not matter one bit. We liked the layout and quality of the homes and then Mary-Anne, the sales advisor mentioned their part exchange scheme. I had never heard of this and think it is fantastic and would recommend it to anyone. We were able to move quickly and stress free with no chains involved and were given a whole week after completion where we were able to move out of our old house. It was first class!”
Simon and Lizzie purchased a four bedroom semi-detached property at Casbrook Fields. “We just love the aspect of our house. We are both keen gardeners and have a lovely broad garden at the rear of the house which backs onto woodlands. To the front of the property there is a green and eventually there will be other properties surrounding the crescent shaped green. The French doors to our kitchen/breakfast room and lounge give us access to a lovely large patio area which will be perfect for the summer. We have also converted our dining room into a lovely large study.
“The four bedrooms upstairs are ideal for all our guests and we have already had friends to stay over following our housewarming which was great fun.
