Banner Homes gains planning permission for four new sites
The latest acquisitions signal Banner Homes’ continuing investment in new opportunities. In 2011 Banner achieved a record breaking year with 39 new development opportunities having exchanged contracts. This success follows on from two previously buoyant years, with 28 new sites exchanged in 2010 and 35 new sites in 2009.
Banner Homes Development – Ascot, Berkshire
Leading developer Banner Homes has been granted planning permission to build 14 homes on a site in New Road and Kennel Ride in Ascot, Berkshire. The site will comprise three pairs of three bedroom semi-detached homes, three bedroom terraced homes, two four bedroom linked detached and three detached four and five bedroom homes. Work is expected to start on site in October.
Banner Homes Development – Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire
Banner Homes has been granted planning permission to build twelve luxury apartments on Hartsbourne Road, Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire. The apartments, which will be built close to the exclusive Hartsbourne Golf and Country Club will also benefit from underground parking. Work is expected to start on site in September.
Banner Homes Development – Chesham Bois, Buckinghamshire
Banner Homes has been granted planning permission to build three detached five bedroom homes in the heart of Chesham Bois, Buckinghamshire. Prior to Banner Homes’ involvement, the site already had planning permission for the erection of eight flats, however the consented scheme was not favoured locally and so with the full support of local residents Banner Homes achieved a revised planning permission for the current arrangement. Work is expected to start on site at the end of the year.
Banner Homes Development – Theydon Bois, Essex
Banner Homes has acquired a new development site with planning permission to build eight apartments overlooking the village green in the picturesque village of Theydon Bois, Essex. Banner intends to imminently submit an application to improve the designs of the proposed homes. This acquisition is the company’s fourth in Essex and confirms Banner’s ongoing commitment to growing its business in this location. The apartments will be a short walk from the station, with trains into Central London and all the village amenities. Work is expected to start on site at the end of the year.
Banner Homes has been building since 1975 and has achieved a considerable reputation for developing homes of traditional quality on sites ranging from individual detached houses to developments of 100 dwellings and more. The company operates three regional divisions, Central, Southern and Midlands, which gives Banner coverage of the whole of the southern half of England.
