Egerton Park honours the memory of the distinguished sculptor Charles Egerton Browne (1910-96), who lived for many years at Haydon Dell, on the site of the present development. Browne was especially noted for his animal sculptures in bronze and was an Associate Member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. Examples of his work can be seen locally in St James' Church and at Bushey Museum.

Egerton Place is close to Bushey High Street and Bushey Heath, both of which offer a range of shops to cater for your day to day needs and a selection of pubs and restaurants. The larger towns of Watford and Stanmore are within two miles and provide a more extensive range of shopping and leisure facilities.

Bushey has excellent transport links, as Bushey and Watford Stations offering direct routes into London Euston. Stanmore Tube Station offers direct links into central London via the Jubilee line within 25 minutes. The M1 and A41 are also within two miles and the M25 is just a short distance further.

There are a number of high achieving independant and state schools within close proximity including Manor Junior School, Ashfield Junior School, Bushey Hall Secondary, Immanuel College and Watford Grammar School for Girls and Boys.
