Pinner, Middlesex

Once a sleepy village, Pinner today is a lively, metropolitan district. However, it still has much of the charm and character that made it a blueprint for suburban living in the 1920s and 1930s.

On nearby Bridge Street you'll find a good selection of shops, restaurants and other amenities, including major High Street names. At nearby Harrow there's the St George's Centre, with shops, eateries and a cinema. A few miles to the north is Watford, which has much to offer including bars, restaurants, clubs, theatres and the excellent Harlequin Shopping Centre.

As for education, there's a wide choice of state and independent establishments in the area, including the Heathfield School for girls, Eastcote's high performing Haydon School (a languages specialist) and the world-renowned Harrow School for boys.

Pinner is also well served by transport links. Central London is easily accessible in about 30 minutes via London Transport's Metropolitan line. Within easy driving distance are the M25 an M1 motorways, and from nearby Hatch End overground station there are regular trains to London Euston and Watford Junction.
